Three 45 minute long Aanimal-Song workshop/performances with trio Tim Dalling, John Pope and Jeremy Bradfield.

The Aanimals invite children and their adults to a 45 minute workshop/performance at Byker Farm. Aimed primarily at children (5+) and young adults but all welcome. Maximum 30 participants.
Try out your instant songwriting skills and feel the freedom and joy of improvised music on a range of available instruments and noise-making devices. Celebrate everything from large and exotic mammals to microscopic bacteria. Create a dance hit. Feel free to bring along your own instrument and a favourite animal to celebrate with a song. Or be inspired directly on the day by animals at Ouseburn farm. Hear some of the classics from Aanimal Dances Vol 1 such as Scuttling Crab, Mr Giraffe and Erithacus Rubecula. Come and dance along to Aardvark and Xanthobacter Autotrophicus.
Tim, John and Jeremy have decades of experience in music, theatre-making and teaching. From the outer reaches of jazz, folk and nonsense, they take the art of silliness very seriously.
