Best known in the UK jazz world for his part in the powerful trio HWF (Hession, Wilkinson & Fell), Simon Fell is one of the most virtuosic bass players in Europe, and also a composer of complex large-scale works that blur the boundaries between jazz and contemporary classical music. Originally from Suffolk, but now resident in France, he is increasingly in demand to work with leading improvisers from Europe and America.
