Originally from the Aquitaine region of France, Fidel Fourneyron graduated from the Paris Conservatoire in 2010, having played as a student with such luminaries as Michel Portal, Marc Ducret and Tony Malaby, and toured with the European Youth Jazz Orchestra.

Since graduating he has remained in Paris, where he is an active member of the COAX musicians' collective. He currently works with a range of bands, from the sax/trombone/piano trio 'Into The Lines' through the tentet 'Radiation 10', and up to the Laurent Mignard Duke Orchestra (which, as its name suggests, celebrates the music of Duke Ellington).
