French saxophonist and clarinettist Robin Fincker has lived in London for over 12 years, but continues to be active in the music scene on both sides of the Channel.
In Britain the two bands with which he is most closely associated are the quartet Outhouse, which he co-leads with drummer Dave Smith, and the cooperative trio Blink with pianist Alcyona Mick and percussionist Paul Clarvis, while in France he is a member of L'Orchestre de Mlle Durin.
He is also an active member of the London-based LOOP Collective, and has been instrumental in setting up links with its Parisian equivalent, COAX. This has led to the establishment of the Anglo-French septet Tweedle-Dee, of which Robin is the driving force.
