Drummer Miles Levin is the son of the late Tony Levin, a man who for more than 50 years lit up the UK jazz scene in everything from hard swinging bop to free jazz. Miles has a lower profile, largely because he rarely works outside his home territory around Birmingham, but he has inherited his father's ability to combine imaginative freedom with unfailing swing.
