Pianist Dave Morecroft's earliest public gigs were as a member of the University of York Jazz Band, but he's subsequently become a rising star of the young London scene. Best known as leader of the award winning quintet World Service Project, he also involves himself in other combinations, including an intriguing meeting with sampler Leafcutter John and painter Gina Southgate.
