In his native USA drummer Chris Vatalaro is best known for his work in Brooklyn-based Afrobeat band Antibalas, with whom he played his first ever UK gig at the Glastonbury Festival. But he was also active on the New York jazz scene, and since moving to London it has been the jazz world that has claimed him. He has worked extensively with members of the F-ire Collective, and is the regular drummer with Seb Pipe's Life Experience and pianist Richard Fairhurst's Triptych.
