Active in rock, classical and world music as well as jazz, Israeli-born Yaron Stavi came to London in 2002 after spending a number of years in Berlin. He quickly linked up with his old friend Gilad Atzmon, joining Gilad's Orient House Ensemble and playing with them on a series of well received albums. He is also a member of the Asaf Sirkis Trio, and - at the more rock orientated end of the spectrum - works regularly with Roxy Music's Phil Manzanera and Robert Wyatt.
