Mark Sanders is one of the finest and most versatile percussionists working in the UK today, with an international reputation that sees him also working regularly in Europe and North America. The Penguin Guide to Jazz calls him "a compelling drummer . . . with limitless rhythmic facility", and it is this quality that has made him one of the most in-demand players on the scene. Probably best known for his work with the Evan Parker Trio, he has also toured and recorded with a veritable 'Who's Who' of British and European free jazz and improv masters, including the great Peter Brtzmann. Another side of his playing is revealed in his role as regular drummer with dub bass icon Jah Wobble.
