Mark McKnight is a Belfast-based guitarist who, since graduating from Boston's prestigious Berklee School of Music in 2006, has been gradually building an international reputation for his melodic but forceful style. In 2009 Jazzwise Magazine listed his as one of their 'Ones to Watch' for the year, and in 2010 he was chosen as a member of the European Jazz Orchestra, an annual gathering of the brightest young prospects from the whole of the continent.

His time in the US also means that he has good connections with American musicians, and he is increasingly busy leading his own groups with New York players in the line-up.
