Robin Aspland is one of those jazz musicians who never seems to make the headlines, yet is a key figure in many successful bands. His sensitive piano style has made him a favourite accompanist for some top flight vocalists (amongst them Claire Martin and Tina May), but he has also worked with major international instrumentalists such as Steve Grossman, Bobby Watson and George Coleman.
